New goalkeeper Scott Bevan caught the eye in the first half with some confident cross catching and a few smart saves.

New signing from Redditch, Michael Creighton, also looked impressive at the heart of the defence.

Up front, Luke Reynolds and Andy White linked well at times and White was unlucky to have a goal ruled out by the referee after he shot smartly following a Reynolds lay-off. Winger Brian Smikle was also unlucky not to get on the scoresheet, seeing a 20-yard shot come off the post.

Harriers made many changes in the second half and lost some of their rhythm as West Brom enjoyed more of the ball. Dean Sturridge struggled to get into the game when he came on and Bob Taylor also made minimal impact.

Harriers travel to Cinderford on Thursday night for their third friendly.
