Courtney rejects Harriers

Mark Yates has been knocked back following an attempt to sign a player he coached whilst at Burnley.
Duane Courtney, a 21-year old defender, was advised by his agent to turn down the move to Aggborough, with the players advisor believing a better offer will come his player's way.
Courtney was signed for £25,000 by Clarets manager Steve Cotterill after winning the Player of the Season award at AFC Telford for 2004-2005. However, the youngster found first team opportunities hard to come by at Turf Moor, finding it difficult to oust Michael Duff from the right-back spot. Courtney played for Derby as a schoolboy and Birmingham as a trainee.
